of interviews and holiday

the interviews on last thursday and friday were very tiring. for someone who is very eager to get a job, and spent most of his "leisure" time doing nothing at home, the experience was worth it. and at least i managed to get myself off me butt, and walked whole day long.

on thursday, went for two interviews. in the morning, it was at United Overseas Bank in KL. while waiting for my turn to be interviewed, sempat la jugak berkenalan with dua orang. one is anis, from kedah; and another is azhar, from perlis. hopefully i did well and managed to impress the interviewee to be called for the 2nd stage. azhar and anis too pls :)

later that evening, went for this fundraising consultant job in KL. well, the session was very informal, guess that the evaluator wanted to evaluate the applicants in his own way. anyway, just tried my luck there. for the sake of having experience in interview sessions :P

the next day, went to KL Convention Centre (KL ConCent) to have a look at the PC Fair. i must say that i am impressed with intel's latest processor. the dual-core. unfortunately, i am in no position or have the capability to enjoy that now. still menganggur.huhu. highlight of the exhibition: booth amoi. by the time i stepped out from the hall, my eyes are "clean" :)

petangnya pergi ke NISER (National ICT Security and Emergency Response Centre), for this Security Assessment Analyst position. macam cuak jugak la, sbb it was my sister who passed my resume to them. so i basically just hantam saja lah. but i am able to answer most of the questions confidently. luckily there were no technical questions. hehe

killer question that eithe i have to endure from the interviewer OR i have to tell them before the session ends:

"you are bonded with PETRONAS, right?"

followed by:

"then if we are to employ you, then PETRONAS call you and offer you work, the you'll have to work with PETRONAS right?"

i hate to go through this moment. its like during this part, the interviewer might decided not to recommend me for the next phase. i mean, who in the right mind would employ person who might jump ships anytime?
the great dilemma.
great, this is what i need. to make soon-to-be-employer lose interest on this fine young man. :P

saturday, sunday and monday.
location: arwana pulau perhentian, terengganu.

the long-awaited holiday trip :) there were five of us. yeen, idris, nodi, syeena and i. we drove there from pj to kuala besut. WiMP is back in action :P

perhentian is very nice. the beach, the mat salleh (hehehe), and the scenery. unfortunately, i did not bring along my camera (ala, kalo bawak pon, bukan amek gamba orang, tp amek gamba scenery je). since blom amek gamba dari kamera yang lain, maka x dptla nk post kat sini.
i must say the places where the boat-men took us for the snorkelling trip were not so best la. in fact, i've seen better than that. i longed to go to the shark point, want to see the sharks. the small one laa. but, the they bawak kami ke tempat yang kinda berombak kuat, and tak banyak coral reef yang cantik-cantik belaka. *sigh*

its ok. next time we are going for island trip, i'll make sure the snorkelling trip musti pergi ke tempat2 yang best-best belaka.

sampai rumah around 2 am pagi tadi, after dekat 8 hours in the car. miraculously, nodi and azamil, we all tidak tidur pon sepanjang journey balik. altho before naik bot from the resort jetty nak balik mainland, i was kinda sleepy. i guess when you felt the sea-wind blowing right onto your face, you cam segar bugar je. cam ikan baru kena pancing :P

am looking forward to the next holiday trip!
(aiyaa..kena mula simpan duit from now. nanti takde duit nk gi berfoya-foya hohoho)
