peeping into the future

one of the modules in the PROJEK TEKAD PERAK 2005 is "Masa Depanku". This module is basically to encourage the students a.k.a Champions to think of what they want to be in the near future. What is their ambition? In what situation can they see themselves in 5 years time?

The role of the coaches is to help the Champions in determining their career path. The coaches are responsible in ensuring that the Champions have enough information and are able to follow the correct path to the chosen career. And also on to persuade the Champions to have a high target in their career life.

To reflect myself with this "Masa Depanku" module, i asked myself. "Mil, how do you see yourself in a year time?" Insya-Allah, i will graduate from UTP with a bachelor degree of ICT. From there, where will I go? I guess I have to start thinking seriously about my future.

There are several paths that I am able to foresee that is going to be available to me:

- to enroll in the RESKILL programme (crash course of Accounting for 3 months, then being recruited by consultant companies. Basically a starting point for me to become a Certified Accountant)

- to apply for job at companies that offer Engineering IT solution, such as AVEVA. (my internship period at PCSB opened up my eyes on the importance of IT in supporting Engineering works)

- to apply for jobs as IT Service Provider companies such as i-Perintis. (talks with Asma really opened up my eyes on types of tasks and works available in i-Perintis)

- to sit, lepak and menghabiskan beras mak bapak at home while waiting for offer from PETRONAS. ( i prefer this one..hehehe any job type is welcomed, bcoz once i work with PETRONAS, my study loan is consider as scholarships)

- to join other companies, for any IT position, except system development and programmer.

- to continue studying in NETWORKING area?

or just follow the flow? whatever offers given, perhaps i should just accept it?
