things to expect for the new semester :p
the new semester will commences soon.. yet, i have lots of things to be done, planning to be planned, plans to be executed, lessons to be revised, codings to be deciphered, programming to be re-install in my re-formatted brain, and friends to be added into friendster list.
well, let's see, what kind of mess have i get myself into this coming semester..
i have this Final Year Project, i have this 6 new subjects to be learnt, i'm participating in 3 events (so far)..BIG events if i might add; extra rigorous fat-burning session to lose all fats collected throughout my internship period, the need to find potential juniors to be my apprentice (important! need to pass the knowledge of preparing and presenting MODULES to juniors..preferably ladies :p ), and to find potential study partner.
plus other things that i cannot think at the time being.
not forgetting, flirting :p

the Mapley onslaught
sumbody, can sumbody remind me next time not to have any makan-makan/minum-minum/lepak-lepak session at this particular Mapley? everybody, repeat after me....SAY NO TO MOSIN LAMA..
y? bcoz lately the service standard has deteriorated. simply said, the service SUxX big time! the mamak yg amek order that night were so selfish, and i'd like to think that yg the SHOP is getting more profit! bajet dah untung juta-juta trillion laa!! (tapi kalo ye pon, i dun care :p )
lemme tell you what exactly happened.. was melepak at Mosin Lama (at TTDI) after finished watching movies with my lovely ABLYNS AHA frens..bile dah abis lepak2, i went to another table, as i was to have another discussion session with Anang and Ca'aint. when i called the mapley to clean up the table, since we wanted to start our "formal" discussion, the mapley was like "ok..ok" then gone with the wind. after three to four times calling the mapleys there to clear up the table, then baru this Nelly-clone mapley came and cleared our table. after that, came this stoopid mapley and asked us. " ini meja suda bayar belom?" we (i mean, i was) like "hello??..can't u see that we are still sitting, trying to have a decent discussion going on?"
also, it seems that the MOSIN LAMA is having a problem of insufficient numbers of chairs..i brought along my trusted laptop, and put it on one of the chairs, when out of sudden, this particular mapley (the same mapley yg cam s!@L tuh) told me to put my laptop at the floor, as he needed the chair..DUH! luckily i was not in the mood to argue with that stupid mapley.
the worst moment: when i'm paying for my foods.. Nasi Goreng Ayam + Milo Ais + Kopi O Ais = RM10++
tak gile ke? asked the cashier, "mapley, ini Nasi Goreng Ayam berapa?" he cooly replied " RM7.50" RM7.50!! that was very expensive!! imagine, a kilo of chicken is only rm6.00...and the chicken being served to me is just a small portion, perhaps weighed about 1/4? but to mark-up the price till rm7.50 is ridiculuos!
so frens, do join me in my lovely crusade..together we can change the world!!

oil
this entry is inspired by peet's entries. read his articles at http://peetworld.blogspot.com
the global price is increasing, again. now it reached $60 per barrel. during the old days, when dredgers were still dredging and mining "bijih timah" throughout Malaya, the oil price was about $10 per barrel.
oil is a commodity. oil is a necessity.
some people (i mean lots) might be complaining, "since PETRONAS is so untung last year, why don't they subsidise the oil price?" i am afraid that is not going to happen. in any near future. why? i leave it to you to find the answer. feel free to share your ideas at the comment section.

shout when you are winning
i know..i know..my entries is basi already..while others update their precious blogs, i left it to rot. but fret not. now i am able to find a little space for me to post an entry.
had my first roller-coaster experience, thanks to the Corkscrew. before that i had the Flying Coaster ride. Right after i finished riding the Corkscrew, went to the Space Shot ride.
the feeling by knowing that you managed to overcome your fear is unspeakable. that's why i shouted all the way.
when the roller coaster is starting to going down the track, you feel that you are going to fall. when the ride is making a double-sometimes-triple loops, you feel like somehow you are going to fall flat on your back. when you are experiencing a free fall from on top of a highland, you feel as if fear is conquering you. that's when you felt like crying. that's when fear comes creeping.
i shouted when i rode the flying coaster, and shouted again when the Corkscrew roller coaster is making a double loop. but man, i really lete everything go when i rode the Space Shot. when it started to fall, my butt was hovering. that's when the fear comes.
and i overcome the fear, by acknowledging it. yes, i am afraid..so i shouted to show and tell the world that i am afraid. luckily i was able to re-assert the calmness inside me. that's when i shouted louder. the feeling of the triumph in overcoming the fear is unspeakable. can onlt be expressed by shouting the heart out. and so, i celebrated my victory by shouting throughout the free fall.
back on the ground, when i'm done with ride, my friends came to me and say, "Mil, kuat gile ko jerit. Kitorang ingat ko mengamuk ke apa tadi. Gile kuat ah ko jerit"
it was the satisfaction that drove me to shout.
*sigh* how i miss MC cheering squad.

wonderful weekend :)
had a wonderful weekend :)
last Friday went to watch Madagascar with Aizan, Lan, Nadiah, and 4 Teratak Boys. The movie was very gooooddd..."i like to move it-move it, he likes to move it-move it, she likes to move it-move it, you like to...MOVE IT!!"
on Saturday, went to Gopeng, Perak for a white water rafting session.. it was very good..and FUN too! the water was cold, the scenery was breath-taking, and to summaries the trip, it was a goooddd trip!
great time spent with friendly, energetic, so-semangat people...hopefully this trip will inspire me to do my tasks more effectively and efficiently.
Teratak Boys: 4 young boys rescued from the alley of Chow-Kit, away from the evil and bad things that resides there. It was such an eye opener for me. Before this, i only imagined that back-alleys that is full of villains, pimps, drug-addicts, and other bad people only exists in Gotham City, Metropolis, or in other foreign countries. Sadly, this thing really exists in Malaysia. i guess this shows how naive i am. well, luckily someone opened my eyes to this thing. Alhamdulillah, praise be to ALLAH. more on the boys..they are now safe. and are learning facts about life. good things. they are learning on how to be a good muslim. how to be a good person. how to become a good citizen. and i am learning from them too..
Isa: money politics? how true is the allegations? was it a conspiracy? me? i have no comment.. anyway, what amazes me is how people reacts to this news. the most interesting is, "Isa dah berkhidmat untuk UMNO sudah lama.Berapa banyak jasanya kepada parti?Adakah ini caranya kita membalas budinya?" (pls be advised yg dialog ni di-alter accordingly to what the author remembers)..is it just because this particular man serves the party for a long time, he is entitled to be punished lightly for his crimes? (if he is acquitted) it is funny. this is Malay's mentality. This is how we think. well, for some of us..i overheard two gentlemen talking to each other about this issue.."wah..u tgk..Isa sudah kena gantung", "hurmm..i'm not surprised", "waaa..u cakap as if u mmg sudah tau psl Isa"...
kudos to Nadiah, Aizan, Mama Gie, iJai, Ziad, Faris, Haris, Farih, Nadia, Faiz, Sabrina, Nazreen, Shafiq, Lan, Sharil, Nazri, Min and Azam for the wonderful weekend!

first of all..i want to say i am sorry for the words that i used in my previous entry. i know it is kinda harsh and vulgar, but one just can never "tarik balik" what has been said..am not going to delete the previous entry, so that it will serve as a warning to me..
after 8 months of internship, it is coming to the end. it has been a roller-coaster ride for me. learned lotsa thing inside and outside the working hours. deep inside, i wished that i can still continue doing my internship, but my alter-ego keep on screaming to me, "let's get out from this place!!!!!!"
i guess after this, i'll be updating my blog once in a week, two might be the best try :p hopefully UTP's internet connection is improving..else, there will be sleepless nights of waiting for a page to be displayed on the monitor.
updates:
my friends and i, we have this great charity thing playing in our heads. we just can't wait for the new semester to commence.
have you ever heard of "KL Duck Race"??
the last time it was held was sometime in 2000...it was an event where the public would "adopt" or buy one or more rubber ducks from Caltex Petrol Station. The rubber ducks then were used in a charity duck race, held at Klang River. All proceeds went to charity organisations, while the owner of the ducks that crossed the finish line as winners get to go home with lots of prizes.
does that rings a bell?
that's what we are going to do in UTP. the working paper is ready, all that is left is for us to finalise our budget allocation, then to submit the proposal to UTP management.
and while we are at the topic, on behalf of the committee, i would like to invite all of you to participate in this event..or perhaps you could give us some motivation by supporting us with donations, sponsors or anything that might help us to run this program successfully. sponsorships in cash or kinds is being welcomed.
hehe..enuff of promoting the event :)
later~
