entry saje je nak ada update

i guess it's true. the old adage, "it is lonely when you are at the top".

we kinda stopped interacting casually since that day. we used to hang out together, talked about anything. and now, when we met, it's either about work or project.

*sigh*

well, seems that street is the place to be right now. first, we have the Bersih thingy. then, we have the Hindraf thingy. what's next? an illegal gathering by the Chinese?

deja vu.

1969. figure it out.

stupid people.

the Malays are saying that the Government are doing nothing to protect their rightful interest.
the Indians are saying that they are being oppressed and depressed, thanks to pro-Bumiputera government.

two different causes, and two similarity.

both believed in protesting on the street.
both greatly being praised by international media for their honesty in highlighting their plight.

stupid.
and suddenly, in my frenster account, a friend of mine set his status as, "Malaysian Indian go to hell!!"

excuse me?

and a close relative of mine suggested, "susah2 kita hantar je derang balik India"

excuse me?

then the protesters or demonstrators that took part in Bersih and reformasi gathering should also be instructed to,"go to hell!!"

then the Malays are to be sent back home to Indonesia, since there is where our ancestors came from.

i am longing for the day, when people ask me, what is your race, i'd answer freely and happily, "im a Malaysian".

but till now, i am yet to do so.

why?

i guess deep inside me, i'm still a racist.

sucks kan?

yeah.. it does sux not being able to say out loud that we r malaysian as a race. i too, longed to say those words but like u said, maybe there is still some racism inside us.. its actually hard to live in this multi-racial country when everybody has not been doing their part of the job... ive been trying hard, i guess we all did, but ade je anasir2 jahat yg mengganggu...

*sigh* i hope those days will come quickly, but looking at the condition of Malaysia... i dunno... n it really really is sad...

someone, :-
1. should also address the issue of bumi's.

2. the true meaning of the word 'malay' according to the m'sian law books.

dear anonymous:
1-the issue of bumi's? the issue that i clearly see is most of the orang asli does not its own piece of pie in the prosperity pie chart. if ada pun, tiny winy je kot. again, what is the sisue of bumi's?

2- from my understanding, the meaning of malay from m'sian law is: you are a Muslim by religion, you can speak Bahasa Melayu fluently, and you've Malaysian citizenship. OK, 3rd point might be a bit ambiguous, but as far as i'm concern, those 3 things define who is Melayu.
