three is not the lucky number

ONE:
she couldn't make it coz she was still on her way back home. and considering that she might want to have some rest, unload her stuffs and everything, going out that night is really not a good idea.

TWO:
had to cancel it again, due to visits from relatives. well, family first rite?

THREE:
last minute cancellation. her car's road tax was overdue. given her previous experience dealing with police officers, driving a car with already dead-road tax is really not a good idea.

should i be mad? in fact, do i even have the right to be mad at her? more like being upset la kot. but then again, it wasn't her fault we had to cancel the plan(s).

entah lah.

the good thing is, she told me:

"we will sure meet up some day"

a week full of excitement

good dinner with lovely companies at Victoria Stations; good time at Chilli's; enjoying Shrek 3 with one of my lovely best-girl-friends; two rows of night filled with laughters thanks to the Actorlympics shows; with great time at Avillion, Port Dickson to mark the end of the wonderful week i have.

please be advised that what i am about to write here is something that others might see it as imitating the way of cheap-@55, while the other side of the river might applaud me for my cleverness and even hailed me as a genius.

how to have one hell a good time at Chilli's.

we all know how expensive eating at established steakhouse could be, ya? well, what i'm about to share with you is something that you might have fantasising since your schooling days, even better, when you've finished your paycheck, but still want to hanging out at steakhouse, like Chilli's for example.

ladies and gentlemen, my friend and i had a good dinner at Chilli's. i had 3 serves of fruit juices, while she only drank a glass. plus a good food. 2 serves. and we only spent RM 29++.

how?

treat yourself (and your partner) for bottomless fruit juices, and for the main course, the bottomless chips.

hehehe.

we spent nearly an hour, eating chips and drinking glasses of juices, while waiting for the show to start.

told her something when we paid for the bill.

"nasib baik i dah kenal u 10 tahun"

we had lunch with a couple of friends. since she does not know any of them, she was just eating her food, and engaged with the conversation when she felt she wanted to. when we finished eating, the couple excused themselves for they have other things to attend to.

she looked at my plate, and pointed to my teppanyaki-ed bean sprouts.

"mil, u tak makan togeh ke?"
"tak habis. kenyang sangat makan teppanyaki ni"
"OK"

she took her fork, and scooped the bean sprouts into her plate, then she ate it.

"mil, nasib baik i dah kenal u 10 tahun"

for those who has no idea on what on earth i'm talking about, Blizzard has announced that they are working on Starcraft 2.

yeap. Starcraft 2.

now, all i have to do is saving enough money to buy a new gaming rig, and while waiting for the release of Starcraft 2, i'll just wet my appetite by playing Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium War.

it was 6.30pm.

i was enjoying my time alone, preparing some notes and materials for tomorrow's discussion when the phone rings. and i was expecting her.

"hey, we thot that 8pm is too late. so we decided to go back home now."
"ok then. no prob"
"you're not waiting for us kan?"
"nope. just killing my time je"

ended the conversation. packed my notes, and made my way to the LRT to go back home.

reached my car, sms-ed a good friend of mine

"in the end, aku balik sorang2 je"

which he replied,

"tula.aku nak teman, ko sombong.wakakaka"

*bummer*

note:

1. when i've people car-pooling with me, i prefer to go back home by 8pm. this is because its not good to go out during senja or maghrib
2. the advantage of being solo: i have the power for time-flexibility. last minute plan cancellation by someone? no problem. coz by then i'm free to do things by myself. hehehe
