ultracrocs CF vs Nisaa FC

following the momentum gained from last match, where we won 2-0, the team played confidently. prior to the game, there were some not-good news about to dampen the team's spirit. first of all, three of our players might not be able to play due to clash with academic test. and the most heart-breaking news is that, our prized-centre back, Doi, was injured. he fractured his right leg, and unable to play throughout the campaign.

nevertheless, the game must go on. with that spirit, we played our hearts out.

it was a thriller. ultracrocs CF keeper (which is me) stumbled, and unable to stop the opponents from scoring two goals in the first half, followed by one goal in the second half. the keeper did school-boy mistakes. he basically slipped the ball. adeh~ looks like i have to train harder after this! ganbatte ne~

ultracrocs CF, living up to its name, won the game by scoring 4 goals. each from kimi, pejol (he scored from centre-half), jose maria, and cassy. it was cassy's goal that made me nearly cried. the free kick he took was marvellous.

and some credits for me tho. i managed to save Nisaa's penalty kick. it was sheer luck. the ball was slow, and it was directed directly to me.

in the end, we won the game. i am thankful for the fact that i might not be playing well as i hoped, but the team really played well. silly mistakes should not happen again.

another thing. while trying to save an attempt, i was given a yellow card. and that's why Nisaa got their penalty kick. at least, the card given was worth it.

and now, i am very tired.

and i am missing someone.

after a year of having the same template, decided to change.
due to new network control done by UTP's ITMS, peeps surfing Internet from hostels are unable to be connected/viewed shoutmix/taggie board. it is with sorrow to announce that since i can't access my shoutmix, i've decided to let it go.

the layout might be messy, but i'll leave it dat way..hehe..am too lazy to change anything.

btw, am still in the process of refreshing and updating my lists of bloggie friends and links. just watch out for the My Links space!

merujuk kepada perkara di atas, saya Azamil Izzat Nazlan Ozizi dengan ini mengumumkan akan perletakan jawatan sebagai presiden kelab single UTP, dengan notis berkuatkuasa 24 jam dari tarikh 26hb Februari 2006.

adapun perletakan jawatan ini adalah berdasarkan perkara-perkara yang telah berlaku ke atas diri saya ketika memikul tanggungjawab sebagai Di-Pertua Presiden. Ekoran dari itu, saya merasakan bahawa kredibiliti saya seakan-akan telah tiada.

RISK part II

well, lets just say that my housemate just caught the RISK fever. they just stopped playing the game. just because they have some important things to do (like attending class and exercise?)

and yours truly, just finished reading the manuals, and also browsed the Net in order to understand more the basic rules of RISK.

RISK the boardgame

the time is nearly 4 am in the morning. and i'll be having lecture at 9 am next morning. and here i am, blogging as part of my insomnia therapy :)

hv u ever played RISK: the boardgame? i did. just now. about an hour ago. and now, i am addicted to it. playing RISK reminded me of my inability to plan ahead (FYI, i lost the game to a friend of mine). my strategies were weak and prone to mistakes. better be good next time, while there is still time :p

prophet Muhammad caricatures?

as much as i am totally offended with the stupid caricatures done by the insensitive groups in some European countries, i am ashamed to see how the Muslims reacted to it. The numbers are small, as not all Muslims staged destructive demonstration, but it is the consequences that counted. Minorities did staged the destructive demos, while others held a peaceful demonstration.

as what have been highlighted over and over again in local medias, violence is not the answer. burning the effigies meant nothing. boycotting the products are useless. unfortunately, the liberal and moderate views are not considered as "front page" materials. instead of spreading these messages, what most media did (mostly international medias) they only flamed the issue, so that the effects will be more than expected, and they can have more "news" material. exclusive report. u name it.

the way some of the mUslims retaliate is shameful. it is not Islamic. it is not what the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would do. i'm sure by this time most of heard the story of the Prophet and his neighbour. His neighbour, a Quraisy lady, always throw insults to Prophet everytime he passed in front of his house. then one day, while the Prophet was passing his neighbour's house, the lady was nowhere in sight. the Prophet checked inside her house, and found out that she was sick. instead of laughing or throwing insults back to her, the Prophet helped the lady to do her chores, while taking care of her health.

that is his sunnah. and we are to follow his sunnah. yes, the Prophet is being ridiculed and insulted. but destructive demos are not what he expects us to do.

the question now is, " how can we restore back the image of beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)? " please, tell me how? how can we restore back the image of Islam as a peaceful religion? where as the followers only resulted to violence as the last act?

current equation from some Westerners' perspective : Terrorist + violence + gender discrimination = Islam

so how?

btw, i wonder what would be if we are to release sets of caricatures that make fun of the so called "Holocaust"? can we be branded as championing press freedom, or will we be branded as anti-semitic?

...but that's another story....again and again

Last friday, went to Harith Iskander's stand-up show. it was a comedy show, yet there were serious moments. audiences were taken down Harith's memory lane as he shared with us his stories of relationships, heart breaking moments, moments of stupidities and his friends' loyalty. not forgetting about his career life. it was a memorable show. some of my friends compared his show with others, but for me, Harith's show is Harith's. no show is the same.

throughout the performances, Harith managed to make most of the audiences to laugh to his jokes, and his satirical explanation on Malaysian's attitude and "perangai". did u realise that usually two months before ramadhan, all shopping complexes would be playing the "Hari Raya" songs? two months before Chinese New Year, the speakers would be blaring with "Gong Xi Gong Xi Gong Xi Ni" song? and about two months before Deepavali ... well, no songs?

and till now, i am still pondering on that quote...

of the Palestinian state

the day came at last. the day where Palestinian is given the chance to democratically elect their government, and end the oppression on them. a long waited election. with hopes that the Israel would leave them alone, and international community would support the estalishment of a sovereign Palestine state. the day of insurgency, uprising, and road-demonstration will finally come to an end. alas.

hamas won the election. an organisation that was elected by the people of Palestinian is an organisation that encouraged and truly supported the Intifada. from the eye of the so-called "the quartet": oh, this is not good. we have a party that supports terrorism and anti-israel as the government. the question is, why Hamas? not Fatah? perhaps the answer is: the Palestinian is tired of waiting for Fatah. the President is prolonging the independence. it is crystal clear that the Israeli won't do anything unless it gives them most benefit. and yet, Mahmoud Abbas still dancing the music played by the United Nation, who is backed by America, whom is closest ally of Israel.

the dust of election is cleared. the people has voted for their choice of government. that's the end of the struggle. current issue faced by Palestinian people is: the classic example of internal politics. the struggle of who will lead the state of Palestine. Fatah is not willing to co-operate with Hamas. the same goes to Hamas (although at different time they stated that they are willing to co-govern palestine). the power struggle.

this makes me wonder. what is the main purpose of the establishment of Fatah and Hamas? isn't it for the establishment of a sovereign Palestine state that is being recognised by the international community, and to end Israel forced occupancy of the Holy Land? i believed that is the main reason. i used to believe. not now. for me, it seems that they just want to have the power of governing Palestine. not to establish a state.

a creation of Palestine state is not the issue. the issues are who should govern Palestine, and holier than thou.

a great move done by USA to prolong the time taken for the Palestinian to gave their own state. Israeli might be laughing now upon hearing the news on clashes between Hamas and Fatah supporters.
