the clock shows it is already 3.25am
and i'm still awake.

it has been years since i last logged in to myspace page. yeap, ladies and gentlemen, i DO have an account there. guess i've been spending too much time blogging here at blogspot, and socialising at friendster, thus resulting myspace to be kinda forgotten.

played futsal earlier tonight. with usual crowd: lan, idris, nodi, syeena, lene, yeen and me. idris's sister was there, as well as his colleagues (arep, imran n aizat).
lene did participated in the match (hehe), in fact she scored several goals. no more static tactic for her.

the trip to Perhentian has been finalised. there would be 5 of us going, and WiMP will be the main transport.
my main concern here is: to have smooth journey, the gas should be filled brape kali? 5 times of full tank? matilaa camni..hurmm..have to reconsider balik ni

nway, i've started sending resumes and applying for jobs..surprise!! :p

hurmm.. i'm blabbing again..guess i really have to go to sleep now.
ciao

*sigh*

its hard to say bad things about your beloved alma mater, even how depressing things are.

the fact that the website itself is very uninviting (blame the top management people, not the webmaster), i can never conjure any reasons of why should i even bother to go the website.

unfortunately, in order to access exam results, one has to throw away the dignity, and enter www.utp.edu.my at the address bar.

both my sisters already received letters from respective universities' reminding them about their upcoming convocation ceremony. UTP? nayy..since the uni aspires to be the leader in technology, the management doesn't even bother to send us any letter. why waste any papers when you can communicate with the students online?

e-mail sounds good. at least, nowadays most Malaysians already approves e-mail as the main substitutes for letters.

but noo..

why bother to send emails, when we can save time just by posting the announcement on the website? genius plan, isn't it?
convocation 2006 important information (click here!)
luckily some of my friends are still surfing the website, and spread the news to us. else, for those who couldn't care less about the website, would still be in the dark.

*sigh*

plan for august

two weeks and counting..

this coming august, will be a very busy month for me. biggest day in my uni's life: my Convocation ceremony; Projek TEKAD Penang Core Team meetings; and not forgetting the trip to Perhentian Island with frens of the universe! (altho not everyone could make it tho)

11th August: PC Fair 2006
12th - 14th August: off to Perhentian Island
18th August: kak ain's convocation at USM Penang
20th August: Tekad for COaches (T4C) session for Tekad Penang
27th August: UTP Convocation Day
3rd September: Yong's convocation at UTM Johor.

kak ain n i will be graduating for our bachelor's degrees, while Yong will be graduating for her Masters. three weeks back to back of travelling for my parents. Penang---Tronoh---Skudai

officially, enters August, it will mark my second month of "break". therefore, the pressure from many sides have been piling up. i mean, most people are expecting me to get jobs and working by this time. talk about not meeting other people's expectation. hehe. well, sometimes i guess i should just go by the flow, defying what others expecting from me. anyway, since the parents have officially started their daily dosages of "bile nak keja" routine, i guess it's time to move on.
anyway, lepak kat rumah pon bosan gak. 2 months of doing nothing. have to put a stop on this.

btw, have i mentioned here that i've received my Petronas interview's result? yeap, i'm being recommended.
"Azamil,i'm glad to inform you that you have been recommended. you will receive offer letter from us in 6 months period."

is that good news or what?
pros: well, petronas might employ me. (oh pls, pls, pls)
cons: 6 months period? u kidding? wut to do in the 6 months period? duduk rumah cam anak dara? :P

my lovely wallet is craving for the "M" thing. some might call it "C" word. xpon "D". money, cash and duit. credit card? hurmm..that's another thing to talk about.
therefore, it is crucial for me to get off my lovely a55 and start my job-hunting session! wish me luck!

btw, when i posted an entry on the "regretfully to inform you that we are unable to match your application to any job vacancies" thingy, received lots of supports and encouraging advices. thanx a million. a trillion thank you goes to lovely kak siti :)

haa..kak siti, if you're reading this, pls oh pls, would like to meet you during convo week. lama tak borak-borak :)

gained lots of weight, even one my best fren's mother said that, "Azamil makin besar" hehe..got to do something about this extra baggage, tho. gym? no cash. plus too lazy. hehe

jom cari kerja!!!

mind ur language

why does people blog?

for some, it is a way to vent the exasperation,anger-ness,sadness,sorrows and things related to emotion.
some to share with their circle of friends about their daily lives and activities.
some decided to jump into the bandwagon.
some as to share their opinions on whatever issues being raised.
some just for fun.

which category are you?
for me, i guess the main reason i'm blogging for the past 1 year and a half is i need a way to improve my english. thinking, writing and expressing myself in english language.

from the need to improve my english, the reasons to blog expanded.
to share opinions, and to produce analytical assessments on daily situations.

well, this is the end of yet writer's useless thoughts.

p/s: blogging sure is more fun than have to write an essay not more than 150 words. :)

injustice for all

today's headline: Israel vows no let-up on Lebanon

the middle east crisis is not new. throughout this century, we have seen and heard on the things that have been going on.

this time: a different plot with several twist.

in the beginning, Hamas captured Israeli soldier after Israel forces performed major assaults on Hamas base in Palestine. so, Israel attacked Palestine, with Hamas being the intended target.
Hamas versus Israel.

then, as an act of s
olidarity, Hezbollah raid into Israel, in which eight Israeli soldiers were killed and two were captured, and it was a stunning and provocative attack.
then of course, Israel retaliated. Hezbollah used ground troops. Israel forces bombed and performed air-strikes on Lebanon's airports, and public places.
Hezbollah versus Israel.

the main question is: "where are the international communities? to be precise, where is the Arabs?"
Israel claimed that Hezbollah is sponsored by Syria and Iran. while it is understandable that Iran might not want to be part of this crisis, since they are trying to win international community's support on the uranium enrichment program, the absence of Syrian and Lebanon forces is very puzzling indeed.

since the post-Afghanistan occupation, my understanding of terrorist is (thanx to Uncle Sam's propaganda): an organized rag-tag army that receives some military training, and equipped with some basic weapons. prefers to use guerilla tactic-warfare.

therefore, Israel is not a terrorist state, according to US standard definition of terrorist. first of all, they are not a bunch of rag-tag armies. secondly, they are equipped with up-to-date and latest weaponary technologies.

Six-Days-War still haunts most Arab countries. unfortunately, they learnt nothing from their shameful defeat, apart from the need to heed every words from US and Israel.

hopefully, Hezbollah and Hamas are truly ikhlas in their daily struggles.
and from here, i can only pray to the Almighty to end the sufferings endured by the victims of this crisis.

as long as international community favours Israel for every dreadful actions they did, there will always be injustice for all, especially for the Palestinian and Lebanese people.

S.O.S call for all UTPians!

dear frens,

by the time this entry is being written, i am very sure that most, in fact all, UTPians already accessed our beloved university's website.
if you haven't, maybe because you have not check your exam results, or maybe because you are not UTP students, feel free to click here. the link will direct you to UTP's website.

to be honest, i am ashamed of the website. it is a disgrace to what is being symbolise by UTP as a centre of technology and excellence. the new face of www.utp.edu.my has been disfigured. it's like an abomination. it is so embarassing.

before i left UTP, i enquired to the help-desk staff on who's in charge of the website. and she gave me some email addresses. and now, i planned to write to these webmasters on what a great job have they done.

therefore, i'll be needing your inputs on what should be and should nots of the website. you can either drop your inputs here at comments, or u can just email me.

as a refresher: www.utp.edu.my

is there life after World Cup?

folks, earlier this morning marked the end of a month-long celebration. the biggest celebration on earth, celebrated once every 4 years. yeap, the World Cup is finally over.

The Azzurri is the world champion. for a brazillian and french supporters like me, Germany 2006 disappoints us. the brazilian was supposed to play the "beautiful game" beautifully. ronaldinho was supposed to dance gracefully among the opponents defenders. kaka was supposed to control the midfield. even roberto carlos was supposed to hold the defences.

well, let the gone be by gone.

kudos to italy for their superb match performance.
zinedine zidane... why the headbutt?

after 9th July 2006, everybody will be thrown back to the normal life routine. and for those truly affected by this grandest world celebration, one question hover around.

is there life after World Cup?
let's just say that till Euro 2008 starts, we will be in our hibernate OR standby OR even worser, Zombie mode.

viva la italia~~

for what is worth

status update:

most of my UTP colleagues are working rite now. yeap, in about two weeks after our project presentation, they already had been offered job positions. and already earning their own bucks. but me? well, lets just say i'm applying my procastination philosopohy. plain text: i'm still jobless :)

to be honest, i was kinda freaked out and was under lots of pressure (hey, my frens are earning bucks !!). luckily, met some of my UTP seniors. their words of advise?

"relax la dulu..rehat-rehatkan kepala tu dulu..u've been studying like what? since standard 1?"

betul jugak kan?

then come this problem.

my frens and i are planning to go to either Redang/Perhentian island for our get-together trip in this coming August. the trip might cost us around rm500++....so..i am in desperate need to get hold of rm500 in one month!

so ladies and gentlemen, could u be so kind as if to suggest what can i do to have rm500++ in about 1 month?

puh-wease.....
